I don't know much about wine but I do know when I like the taste of something. This first photo is of the bottle ordered by Scott's friends on my first night right after arriving to Roma. I shared in a taste. It is the best Pinot Grigio I've ever had. When I tried to have Scott order a glass from the wine bar at the Central Market they didn't have it but the man standing next to him asked to look at the photo. He said that this wine is from one of the top makers in Italy and it's one of the most excellent you can get.
I was looking for Brunello & Amarone wines for a friend, yes, Aaron, I mean you. While looking I've found Amarone to be a very nice red that reminds me a lot of a really good Malbec. This one was a small bottle (you can order small bottles) that Scott ordered at dinner. I had a little. It was very smooth and good.
They gave us complimentary limoncello at dinner. Took a sip and gave the rest to Scott. It was way too strong for me. Sweet though.
Scott had me take a sip of a spritz too. Yuck! Orange and pretty but my reaction was as if I sour/bitter citrus fruit.
